Use of laser technology in conditions of job-order manufacture

The thesis is focused on theoretical analysis and physical description of laser beam technology. It deals with possibilities and concrete methods of laser technologies in perspective of metal machining and in detail it describes CO2 laser and its inclusion to the manufacturing process in concrete engineering company. Further it describes the components base and the construction technology of typal representatives. The thesis includes the proposition of solution of increase the productivity of the laser workplace and also technical and economical evaluation of this technology.

Building Order Management in the Building Company

This thesis deals with problems concerning the management of construction contracts in the construction business. The work is described in several chapters of the proceedings of orders. First described project "Extension of a commercial building", and I continue to work in the description of contract management. At the end of the contract is evaluated in terms of time and cost perspective.

Classification of flexible manufacturing systems & machining centers

This bachelor´s thesis is focused on analysis of the flexible manufacturing systems and machining centers. In the first section the basic characteristics of the flexible manufacturing systems and their versions are described. There´s also a description of the manipulators, conveyors and possible layouts of systems which are often used in the flexible manufacturing systems. The next section is focused on the description and classification of the machining centers as the main parts of flexible manufacturing systems. The classification is firstly done according to the design and technical possibilities and in the last section the flexible manufacturing systems are classified according the user´s requirements.

Turning machines

This work deals with lathes, machines used for the turning technology. The aim is to link the general conditions of the turning with the specific products available on the market and specific examples of the use of machines in practice. The first part describes the historical development. The following is description of this technology, including related regularities and the calculation formulas. The third part consists of an overview of lathes including the specific machines, their suitability for the production of different workpieces and their parameters. In the next chapter are examples of the model using of the different lathes direct in the production company, the advantages and disadvantages of their use. The last part is devoted to temporary trends and directions in the development and improvement of these machines and streamlining of the production made with using of them.

Description of grinding machines

This bachelor´s thesis deals with the description of grinding machines. The goal of this paper is to describe the evolution of the grinding machines as well as the contemporary grinding machines. Further this paper analyses the construction of the machines and points at the possibilities of thein future improvement. This paper also lists the companies that produce the grinding machines and attempts to identify the main differences among thein products. The paper is finalized with the summary.

Research into the appropriateness of diverse multimedia cabling applications

The reader can find a summary of metallic structured cabling in this thesis. It means there is described progress of this cabling and the specifications of the cabling systems. There are also described all types of these cables and some of connectors. The types of cable are summed in the table at the end of this part. In another part there are shown some aplications used for structured cabling. In the futher part there are described tests defined in the specifications in more detail. The most importatnt part of this thesis is focused on various tests. Firstly, there were chosen typical representative of the cables. It was: the data cable (Category 6), S/STP and MediaTwist cable. These cables were underwent the standard tests described above and theirs results are appended on the attached CD. In the last part of this thesis there are intrinsic tests of fitness cables to the multimedia signal. Of course, the tests were chosen to measure cable to obtain the most suitable type of cable. However, these tests were not standard measurement. There were simulated occasions from the practise. The goals of this thesis were to achieve the results, to compare them between each other and to make a decision, which cable is the most suitable for the multimedia signal. Definitely, this thesis should be sufficient at least for people who keep track of structured cabling. Eventually, the clear decision was made from these testings. MediaTwist cable is the most suitable type for the multimedia signal, because the signal is being recognized correctly in almost every case even if the long length. Image similarity measurement using points of interest

This paper presents a new object detection method. The method is based on keypoints analysis and their parameters. Computed parameters are used for building a decision model using machine learning methods. The model is able to detect object in the picture based on input data and compares its similarity to the chosen example. The new method is described in detail, its accuracy is evaluated and this accuracy is compared to other existing detectors. The new method’s detection ability is by more than 40% better than detection ability of detectors like SURF. In order to understand the object detection this paper describes the process step by step including popular algorithms designed for specific roles in each step.

My work is focused on description of CNC lathe machines. The aim is to describe CNC, its evolution, analyze the construction of the machine and show possibilities of development in the future. Furthermore to mention companies that produce this kind of machines and try to define main differences among machines. This work is divided into four main parts. The first one is the evolution, second is description of CNC machine and companies engaged in their production. At the end is evaluation of whole work.

Software for evidention of error cases

This thesis deals with the elaboration and registration of reporting failures on machinery equipment during performance of works operational maintenance support team. Software is tested in operation at Honeywell Brno. The aim of this thesis is to design software in Excel VBA development environment that can manage statistically and graphically present the results of usability machinery.
